If FWSC comes across a residential, commercial or industrial service connection that has 2 or more houses/businesses connected to one 3/4" meter, we are required to rectify the situation. The member would have the choice of disconnecting the additional houses/businesses from the meter and using a different water source, installing a separate 3/4" meter for each house/business or upgrading their current meter to a 1"meter, which TCEQ classifies as a master meter.
