FWSC’s responsibility stops at the meter and anything beyond the meter is the member’s responsibility.  Members are required to have their own personal cut off valve just past the meter for their personal use. Members are asked to not use the angle stop that is before the meter as this is FWSC’s angle stop.  If you are needing the water off, and do not have a personal cut off valve, please call the FWSC office and we will send an operator out to cut the water off.  We then ask, since the water is off, for you to install your own personal cut off valve just past the meter.  If we have to come out to cut the water off, after we have already asked you to install your own personal cut off valve, you will be charged a $50.00 service trip fee each time.

The FWSC Tariff states that any metered water must be paid for.  We ask that you cut the water off at your personal cut off valve if you have a weekend home or are going to be gone from the property for an extended amount of time.  This will help prevent leaks from running up your water bill.
